Vale Group has partnered with an established commercial mechanical contractor based near Charlotte, NC who is actively searching for an experienced MEP Project Manager to work ON-SITE, for an opportunity paying between $95k -$105k annually, based on experience and qualifications.


You will oversee the design, installation, and start-up of mechanical & plumbing systems in new construction projects. Prior experience working on large-scale healthcare/hospitals or similar commercial projects is highly preferred.

Requirements of the MEP Project Manager:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in commercial construction management focused on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing, with a strong preference for experience in large-scale healthcare projects.
  • Hands on experience in the installation and maintenance of MEP systems, in order to troubleshoot issues which may occur during installation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
  • OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification
  • Relevant certifications in Plumbing, HVAC, etc.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and quality control.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software.


Responsibilities of the MEP Project Manager:

  • Manage and coordinate all project phases, from pre-construction and planning through completion and turnover.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure MEP designs are integrated into the overall building plan.
  • Ensure regulations are followed, maintaining a strong focus on OSHA compliance and all building codes.
  • Facilitate communication across project teams and with stakeholders to ensure objectives are clear and progress is reported.
  • Address and resolve technical issues that arise during construction and installation, including delays or emergencies.
  • Manage subcontractor selection, contract administration, and procurement.
  • Conduct site inspections and project reviews to monitor progress and adherence to plans and specifications.
