We're on the hunt for a dynamic VP of Sales in the aerospace manufacturing industry based in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This role offers a generous salary ranging from $240K to $270K, plus up to $10k in relocation assistance for candidates ready to make a move. Dive into an onsite role that demands your presence when not traversing globally, including destinations like Ethiopia, Europe, and South America.


Ideal Credentials:

  • Possesses an engineering background with a Bachelor's degree from a recognized national university, a Master's is a plus.
  • Brings at least 5 years of VP-level sales management expertise, primarily in aerospace manufacturing, coupled with a minimum of 10 years in customer-facing business development roles.
  • Demonstrates significant experience in overseeing sales and marketing teams, forecasting, spotting new business opportunities, and crafting strategic sales plans that ensure growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Excels in operational management, with a keen ability to foster relationships with airlines, MROs, and OEMs, and has a proven track record of international sales success.
  • Is prepared for extensive travel, around 60%-70% of the time, with a focus on international destinations.


VP of Sales - Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the Sales and Marketing team, managing everything from advertising to trade show appearances.
  • Devise and implement sales projections and budgets, develop new products, and spearhead customer/sales development strategies.
  • Engage in high-level sales negotiations, proposal management, and oversee the customer service operations to ensure on-time delivery and satisfaction.


Requirements:

  • Residency within or willingness to relocate to the Los Angeles/Orange Co. region (100% onsite role with extensive travel).
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, or related field; Business degree acceptable with ample technical experience.
  • Strong leadership, project management skills, and the ability to drive successful marketing campaigns.
