Vale Group has partnered with an established company in the aviation/defense industry based in Stockton, CA to hire an Aircraft Engine Technician for an ON-SITE opportunity paying between $$24 per hour, based on experience. Diesel, industrial and/or aircraft engine experience required

This position does NOT require an Airframe & Powerplant license.

First Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday - 6:00am to 3:00pm


Requirements of the Aircraft Engine Technician :

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Hands-on experience in the repair and overhaul of hydro-mechanical and pneumatic turbine engines preferred.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering specifications related to turbine engines.
  • Demonstrated expertise in diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of turbine engine systems.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry standards pertaining to aircraft engine maintenance preferred
  • Safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in all aspects of turbine engine maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations and tight deadlines.


Responsibilities of the Aircraft Engine Technician :

  • Conduct hands-on repair, maintenance, and overhaul of hydro-mechanical and pneumatic turbine engines, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
  • Inspect engine components for signs of wear, damage, or defects, utilizing advanced techniques and tools to identify potential issues.
  • Perform diagnostic testing to assess engine performance and identify areas requiring attention or adjustment.
  • Disassemble and reassemble turbine engines, following detailed technical manuals and engineering specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the repair and overhaul process.
  • Keep detailed records of work performed, documenting inspections, repairs, and parts replacements for accurate maintenance records.
  • Participate in training programs and stay updated with the latest advancements in turbine engine technology and maintenance techniques.
