Vale Group has partnered with a company based in Miramar, FL, who is actively searching for an experienced Accounting Manager to work onsite for an opportunity paying $110,000–$130,000 annually, based on experience. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong educational background and a tech-savvy mindset. A CPA is preferred, ideally up to 10 years of experience in progressive accounting roles.
Requirements of the Accounting Manager:
● Strong understanding of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)
● Experience with financial reporting, general ledger, and consolidation reports
● Multi-entity reporting experience is required
● Advanced Excel skills and overall strong technical proficiency
● CPA preferred but not required
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s is a plus)
● Up to 10 years of relevant experience
Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
● Lead and manage the month-end close process
● Prepare and review consolidated financial reports
● Oversee multi-entity general ledger activity and reconciliations
● Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606
● Support audits and compliance requirements
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage technology for process improvements
● Provide mentorship and support to junior accounting staff
