Vale Group has partnered with a leading Public Accounting firm, to seek a dynamic and experienced Tax Director to join their team focused on domestic tax. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to advance their career and become a leader in the Tax Practice with a Partnership opportunity. Salary range begins at 175k and up DOE. A portable book of business is not required.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical and consultative tax resource for all professionals within the firm.
• Stay updated on technical tax matters and disseminate relevant information to tax professionals and the wider firm.
• Provide advice on a variety of corporate tax structure needs within the client base.
• Manage a large book of clients and offer support to client service teams as needed.
• Develop a strategic business development plan anticipating new tax service needs.
• Write articles and newsletters to communicate tax law changes and issues to clients and prospective clients.

Requirements:

• JD degree is required, and an LLM is preferred.
• Deep and wide-ranging technical tax advisory skills covering various areas.
• Tax restructuring experience highly preferred.
• Proficient in tax planning and consulting.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in building financial models.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
