Vale Group, a nationwide specialized recruitment firm, has partnered with a company based in Lakeland, FL, who is actively searching for an experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to work onsite for an opportunity paying up to $110,000 annually, based on experience. This role reports to the VP of Finance with a dotted line to the FP&A Manager and is designed for a finance business partner who can own budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis while helping leadership make better business decisions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly analytical, and capable of telling a clear story through numbers, with the communication skills and business judgment to present insights to senior leadership and drive meaningful operational improvements.
Requirements of the Senior FP&A Analyst:
● 5+ years of relevant finance, FP&A, or financial analysis experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
● Strong experience building budgets, forecasts, and financial models
● Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
● Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability with a strategic mindset
● Solid foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and performance analysis
● Food manufacturing experience is a plus
● Experience developing reporting tools, KPIs, and analytics that support better business decisions
Responsibilities of the Senior FP&A Analyst:
● Serve as a finance business partner to support leadership with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis
● Provide monthly reporting, commentary, and insight into business performance across the P&L, balance sheet, and key operating metrics
● Build financial models and scenario analyses to support profitability, predictability, and decision-making
● Support annual budget, strategic plan, and forecast processes while helping improve financial visibility across the business
● Recommend KPIs and operational measures that improve stakeholder performance and overall business results
● Partner cross-functionally with business leaders to challenge assumptions and support better decisions
● Drive process improvements that strengthen the speed, quality, and accuracy of reporting and analysis
● Ad hoc projects, support as needed
