We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to serve as both an advocate for our employees and a driver of organizational change. This crucial position will strategize, manage, and evaluate the human resources operations within our company. You will collaborate closely with business leaders to cultivate a positive organizational culture. This is a full-time onsite role offering a competitive salary of up to $110K, dependent on experience and qualifications, located in Stockton, CA.

Requirements of the Human Resources Manager:

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Professional HR certification (PHR or SPHR) is advantageous.
  • At least ten years of HR management experience, particularly in employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management.
  • Previous HR work in skilled labor or the manufacturing sector is crucial.
  • Expertise in recruitment and employing applicant tracking systems with a deep understanding of labor laws in California.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to operate independently.
  • Proficiency in English is necessary; bilingual ability in Spanish is preferred.
  • Experience with Paycom HRIS and payroll systems is a plus.


Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager:

  • Lead all recruitment activities, ensuring a positive experience from application through to hiring.
  • Foster relationships with recruitment partners like agencies and educational institutions.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Supervise the performance review cycle, including evaluations and compensation adjustments.
  • Oversee training and development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Administer benefits programs in collaboration with brokers and providers.
  • Maintain digital HR records through HRIS systems.
  • Develop policies and recommend procedural enhancements to improve department operations.
  • Support the team as needed.
