Vale Group has partnered with a firm in Fort Worth, TX seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to work on a hybrid schedule, offering up to $190K (base), based on credentials and experience. This role focuses on sophisticated tax matters for high-net-worth individuals, delivering strategic guidance, managing complex filings, and supporting related entities including trusts and closely held businesses.
Requirements of the Senior Tax Manager:
● Proven background supporting high-net-worth individuals and their affiliated entities
● Ability to oversee engagement planning, workflow, and client deliverables
● Skilled in researching intricate tax issues and presenting recommendations
● Strong written and verbal communication abilities
● Minimum 8+ years of relevant tax experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Tax preferred
● CPA license required
● Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on coaching and development
● Advanced analytical skills and sound judgment
● Proficiency with tax-related software tools (experience with planning systems a plus)
Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Manager:
● Lead tax compliance and advisory work for high-net-worth individuals
● Guide teams of senior and staff accountants to deliver high-quality results
● Manage scheduling, planning, and execution of assigned engagements
● Oversee quality assurance and ensure timely completion of all work
● Conduct research on complex tax topics and provide clear recommendations
● Communicate with leadership on strategic decisions related to engagements
● Foster strong client relationships and assist with prospective client needs
● Support training, mentoring, and performance feedback for team members
● Collaborate with internal groups to improve process efficiency
● Support as needed
