Vale Group, a nationwide specialized recruitment firm, has partnered with a company based in Hagerstown, MD, who is actively searching for an experienced General Manager to work onsite for an opportunity paying a base of $175,000 to $225,000+ with total earnings potential of $350,000 to $600,000+ through performance incentives, based on experience. This is a ground-floor executive role: complete accountability for a brand-new dealership's operations, financial results, and leadership bench, working alongside ownership to create a high-performing, guest-centered organization. Ideal candidates bring extensive P&L command, operational depth across both variable and fixed departments, and a history of developing winning management teams.

Requirements of the General Manager:
● 7+ years of progressively senior dealership leadership, whether as a GM, or a top-producing General Sales Manager carrying broad operational scope
● Verifiable success owning a complete dealership P&L and expanding profitability
● Leadership accomplishments spanning both variable and fixed operations
● Sharp financial acumen, including the ability to dissect dealership statements and performance data
● Experience building, coaching, and retaining strong leadership benches
● Outstanding communication, organization, and decision-making capabilities
● Direct OEM partnership experience, with Honda relationships preferred
● Stable career trajectory reflecting continued advancement, along with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Responsibilities of the General Manager:
● Deliver executive oversight across every store department: Sales, F&I, Service, Parts, Accounting, HR, Marketing, and Customer Experience
● Own the full P&L, driving top-line growth, margin performance, cost discipline, and operational excellence
● Recruit and mentor department heads while instilling a culture built on accountability and exceptional service
● Track critical metrics including unit volume, fixed ops results, CSI, market share, and staff retention
● Collaborate with manufacturer field teams and corporate leadership to meet OEM standards and business goals
● Guide inventory strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning
● Champion cross-department collaboration and cultivate the organization's next generation of leaders
● Support as needed
