Vale Group has partnered with a leading company in the Legal industry, based in California, currently seeking an experienced California Employment Defense Attorney to work REMOTELY within the state of California. California Employment Defense Attorney Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience specializing in California civil employment defense cases
• Expertise in handling class action and PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) cases
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California State Bar
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with relevant employment laws and regulations
• Proven experience in managing complex employment litigation matters
• Must be willing to meet a minimum requirement of 215 billable hours monthly once ramp-up period is complete
• Must be willing to attend court hearings in person when required

California Employment Defense Attorney Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice and representation in California civil employment defense cases, with a focus on class action and PAGA cases.
• Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and provide strategic guidance to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal proceedings, as required.
• Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations relevant to California.
• Ensure compliance with all ethical standards and professional guidelines.
• Support and mentor junior legal staff as needed.
