We are seeking a qualified Project Engineer to work onsite for an opportunity paying up to $105K base plus benefits, based on experience, which is located in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will bring robust industry knowledge with a focus on civil infrastructure projects, specifically with a background in managing the construction and maintenance of roads and bridges. This role demands a keen understanding of FDOT regulations and standards to ensure project compliance and excellence.

Requirements of the Project Engineer:

● 2+ years of civil engineering experience, specifically with FDOT projects

● Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

● PE license preferred, but not required

● Proficiency in AutoCAD and civil engineering software

● Experience with project management tools and methodologies

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

● Familiarity with GIS and BIM software is a plus

Responsibilities of the Project Engineer:

● Oversee the design, planning, and execution of bridge and road construction projects

● Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with all project specifications

● Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for multiple civil projects

● Conduct on-site inspections and project reviews to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards

● Prepare reports and present project updates to stakeholders

● Support contract negotiations and manage subcontractor activities

● Support the team as needed
