Vale Group has partnered with a company in the Financial Services industry, based in Flower Mound, TX, who is actively searching for an experienced Director of Tax Compliance to work onsite for an opportunity paying $120,000 - $175,000 annually, based on experience. This role focuses on leading international tax compliance, transfer pricing, tax planning, and audit support.

Requirements of the Director of Tax Compliance:
● 5-8+ years of experience in international tax, preferably from a Big 4 firm or corporate tax environment
● Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA, MST, or JD preferred
● Strong understanding of U.S. international and foreign tax regulations
● Experience with ASC 740 tax provisions and SOx Section 404 compliance
● Proficient in tax software, including Avalara
● Ability to perform thorough tax research and provide well-documented support
● Excellent teamwork and flexibility in a dynamic environment
● Some international travel may be required
Responsibilities of the Director of Tax Compliance:
● Prepare international tax portions of U.S. Federal filings, including Forms 5471, 8858, 8991, and 1118
● Manage the global transfer pricing documentation process and intercompany agreements
● Ensure compliance with foreign tax return filings and coordinate with external advisors
● Support international tax planning strategies and monitor tax law developments
● Provide assistance during IRS and foreign tax audits concerning international matters
● Oversee tax compliance for sales tax using tools such as Avalara
