Vale Group, a nationwide specialized recruitment firm, has partnered with a company based in Hagerstown, MD, who is actively searching for an experienced Honda Service Manager to work onsite for an opportunity paying a base of $120,000+ plus a substantial performance-driven incentive plan, based on experience. Requirements of the Service Manager:

● At least 5 years advancing through automotive fixed operations leadership, having held a Service Manager, Fixed Ops Manager, or comparable role

● Track record of running busy, high-volume dealership service departments successfully

● Deep command of fixed ops financial statements along with department-level KPIs

● Skilled at hiring, coaching, and keeping strong service talent

● History of raising technician productivity, growing labor revenue, boosting retention, and strengthening overall department margins

● Comfortable with dealership management software, ideally CDK, plus Microsoft Office

● Background with Honda or another import franchise strongly favored

● Steady work history reflecting sustained leadership success, and a valid driver's license with a clean record

Responsibilities of the Service Manager:

● Direct day-to-day service operations covering workflow, staffing levels, scheduling, output, and profit performance

● Hire, develop, mentor, and retain advisors, technicians, dispatchers, and support personnel

● Track and act on key measures such as RO count, labor gross, tech efficiency and proficiency, ELR, CSI, warranty results, and customer retention

● Collaborate with Parts, Sales, and store leadership to elevate total fixed ops results and the client experience

● Uphold OEM requirements, warranty guidelines, safety protocols, and internal policy

● Build repeatable processes and best practices that fuel sustained growth

● Resolve escalated customer matters while championing a service-first culture

● Prepare forecasts, control expenses, and hit department financial targets

● Support as needed
