Staff Accountant / Senior Accountant

About the Opportunity

We are supporting a biopharmaceutical company that is hiring a Staff or Senior Accountant to their finance team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional to step into a growth-stage environment where their work will have visibility and impact. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys supporting day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvements. The position offers a balance of stability and career growth, with exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting core accounting activities such as reconciliations, reporting, and expense tracking.
• Helping manage accounts payable (AP) and receivable (AR) processes.
• Assisting with financial statement preparation and internal reporting.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate financial records.
• Contribute to process improvements and systems implementation as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
• 3+ years of professional accounting/finance experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
