Summary

The Marketing Manager’s primary function is to support the company’s marketing activities with a strong emphasis on creativity, innovation, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to facilitating trade show efforts, developing consumer-focused marketing materials, and coordinating social, email, and e-commerce marketing. The individual will also support activities of other departments, as applicable, including sales, medical affairs, and customer service. 


Responsibilities:

  • E-commerce and Advertising Management: Collaborate with external advertising agencies to plan and execute marketing initiatives, including Amazon ads, pay-per-click campaigns, and other DTC-focused advertising strategies. 
  • Trade Show: Enroll company into 40+ trade shows annually. Coordinate event registration, booth setup, material preparation, etc. Ensure timely shipment of booths and materials and travel with sales representatives to trade shows as needed. 
  • Website Management: Maintain and optimize the company website with a focus on user experience (UX), content updates, and announcements tailored for direct consumers. 
  • Sales and Support Materials: Develop consumer-friendly sales and support materials, ensuring they are effective for both representatives and end-users. 
  • Social Media Marketing Campaigns: Lead social media marketing efforts, including creating engaging, consumer-centric content, sourcing user-generated content (UGC), and managing daily activities. 
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze DTC campaign performance and trends to identify opportunities for improvement, generate actionable insights, and share results with stakeholders 



Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in marketing; experience in product marketing for pharmaceuticals, medical food, supplements, medical device or related industries is desirable.
  • Exceptional writing skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with paid search, email marketing, and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as Shopify and Klaviyo is a plus. 
  • Highly organized and time-efficient.
  • Results-driven with a quality-oriented mindset. 


Travel Requirements: This role may require up to 10% travel to trade shows, including occasional weekend events.

 

Onsite Requirements: This position requires 3 days onsite per week in Rockville, MD.


Compensation: Expected base compensation range for this position is 80-105k per year. Annual target bonus is 15%.
