Position Overview

A vascular surgery and podiatry practice, is seeking a kind, energetic, dependable, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, thrives in a fast-paced medical environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care.

The Medical Assistant will play a key role in supporting patient flow, triage, clinical assistance, and overall office efficiency while helping create a welcoming and compassionate experience for every patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a triage and clinical support assistant for providers and patients
• Escort patients to exam rooms and collect/update patient information
• Utilize medical software to guide and document triage questions
• Assist patients with removing shoes, socks, or other items as needed for examination and treatment
• Support physicians and clinical staff during patient visits
• Remove sutures as directed
• Take and assist with x-rays
• Clean and prepare patient rooms between appointments to maintain a safe and welcoming environment
• Restock exam rooms and clinical supplies at the end of each day
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with overall office workflow
• Deliver compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Prior Medical Assistant experience preferred
• Experience in podiatry, vascular, orthopedic, or specialty practice is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Kind, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor
• Dependable, energetic, and able to work efficiently in a team environment
• Comfortable assisting patients with mobility and basic physical assistance needs
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
