Position Overview
A growing organization is seeking a driven and relationship-oriented Sales Executive to join its team. This role is ideal for a confident communicator who thrives in a consultative sales environment and is comfortable engaging with executive leadership teams and key decision-makers.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and matching talent to events based on audience, theme, and budget. This position requires strong sales instincts, strategic thinking, and the ability to build long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporations, associations, and event professionals
- Generate new business through networking, referrals, outreach, and cold calling
- Build relationships with executive-level decision-makers
- Consult with clients to understand event objectives, audience, and budget parameters
- Research and recommend talent aligned with client needs and event goals
- Negotiate agreements and coordinate event logistics between clients and talent
- Ensure successful event execution and a high-quality client experience
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline management
- Collaborate internally to support company growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Background in Sales, Client Relations, or Account Management
- Comfortable with cold calling and business development outreach
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build credibility with senior-level professionals
- Strong research, negotiation, and organizational abilities
- Effective time-management and multitasking skills
- Experience with marketing or event coordination is a plus
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with flexibility for remote work
- Prior experience in talent representation, event services, hospitality, or related industries is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
