Job Title: Tank Yard Manager

Reports to (title): Technical Director

Budget Scope: Inventory products and manage tank yard department.

General Description: Responsible for planning and coordinating operations for the tank yard, analyzing existing workflow and implementing improvements. Daily onsite leadership of tank yard and personnel.

Position Responsibilities:

• Analyzing existing operations and recommending improvements.
• Preparing plans and schedules for harvest-tanking season, ensuring staff understands expectations.
• Monitor inbound and outbound raw material ensuring quality targets.
• Monitor fill rates and chemistry levels routinely ensuring proper targets.
• Monitor inbound and outbound raw material ensuring quality targets.
• Preparing plans and schedules for off season.
• Ensuring supplies are regularly restocked.
• Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.
• Communicating with suppliers to accommodate deliveries.
• Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety regulations.
• Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff members.

Education/Experience/Capabilities Requirements

• Experience in a farming-related field
• Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment.
• Management experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• The ability to make decisions in stressful environments.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and outdoors environment. Be the GO TO person for the Tank Yard. Be present.
• Bi-lingual (English / Spanish)
