The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Occupational Therapist to manage a mixed caseload of adults and paediatrics. In this role, you will provide comprehensive assessment and intervention services across various settings, including community, clinic, and home environments. Your responsibilities will include working with both private and NDIS clients, ensuring the delivery of tailored therapeutic strategies that meet the individual needs of each client.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs of both adult and paediatric clients, developing personalised intervention plans.
  • Implement therapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing daily living skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and more.
  • Provide therapy across various settings, including clinics, schools, community locations, and homes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to deliver high-quality clinical care and therapeutic outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, families, support coordinators, and educators, to ensure integrated care.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in occupational therapy.
  • Show compassion, patience, and dedication to achieving positive therapeutic outcomes.


About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain one).
  • Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one).
  • Class C driver’s licence.
  • Experience in occupational therapy, particularly in paediatrics, is preferred but not required (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Attention to detail, punctuality, and a driven, positive attitude are essential.
