We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Business Services & Advisory division. This is a key leadership role suited to an experienced public practice professional who is ready to step up, lead a team, and help drive the strategic direction of the practice.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of accountants across multiple client groups, ensuring high-quality compliance and advisory outcomes.
• Manage a diverse portfolio including SMEs, family groups, high-wealth individuals, and private companies.
• Review complex tax returns, financial statements, and advisory work across structures including companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs.
• Deliver strategic business advisory services — forecasting, structuring, tax planning, performance analysis, and growth guidance.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on key commercial and tax matters.
• Drive internal process improvement, team development, and best-practice technical standards.
• Support Partners with workflow management, budgeting, billing, and practice growth initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• 7–12+ years’ experience in Australian public practice with strong compliance and advisory capability.
• Proven experience managing teams and complex client groups.
• CA or CPA qualified (essential).
• Strong technical tax knowledge across CGT, Div 7A, FBT, GST, and small business concessions.
• Commercially minded, client-focused, and confident in presenting insights to business owners.
• Someone who values culture, collaboration, and developing people.
