About the Role:

This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for technology, a service-first attitude, and a hunger to learn. As a Junior Field Service Technician, you’ll be the go-to for delivering support, repairs and upgrades to onsite equipment. You’ll work across metro and regional locations, managing ticket queues, coordinating sub-contractors, and communicating directly with customers. With strong internal support and exposure to varied technology, you’ll grow quickly in your technical and client management skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to client sites to perform basic fault diagnosis, repairs and upgrades
  • Use diagnostic software to verify correct operation of devices
  • Manage job ticketing system, triage requests and resolve issues where possible remotely
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers and subcontractors
  • Log jobs accurately and manage parts returns in line with timeframes
  • Escalate technical issues or hazards to management as needed
  • Assist with coordination of subcontractor jobs and regional support requests


What You’ll Bring:

  • Basic technical experience or education in electronics/electrical/applied trades
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn on the job
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service
  • The ability to work independently and solve problems under guidance
  • Valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel (some regional work required)
  • Reliable, organised and committed to high-quality work
