We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Manager or a high-performing Senior Accountant who is ready to take their next career step in assisting with the management of a client portfolio, leading and motivating the team, and working closely with Directors to deliver exceptional outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor junior team members — managing workflow, providing feedback, and maintaining quality control standards
• Review and prepare financial statements and tax returns for a diverse range of entities, including complex family groups
• Oversee tax and accounting planning, forecasting, and advisory work
• Liaise with clients and statutory bodies with confidence and professionalism
• Provide expert Xero support, software insights, and efficiency improvements
• Deliver practical business and taxation advice to help clients achieve results
• Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and process enhancements

What You Bring

• Minimum 5+ years’ Business Services experience in public practice
• CA or CPA qualified or currently studying towards, with strong technical and advisory skills
• Xero Certified and confident with cloud accounting solutions
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong commercial acumen and client relationship focus
• Attention to detail paired with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
• Passion for technology, automation, and smarter ways of working
