Appointment Setter

About the role 


As an Appointment Setter, you will play a critical role in our client acquisition process by 

engaging with inbound and outbound leads and booking qualified appointments for our broader 

sales teams. This is a hands-on, phone-based role focused on high-quality conversations, 

needs discovery, and calendar bookings. 

This is a full-time, on-site role based in South Yarra, working in the property investment space, 

ideal for someone with experience in appointment setting, inside sales, or contact centre 

environments within the finance, wealth creation, investment, or property sectors.  


What you’ll be doing 

In this role, you will be responsible for: 

 Conducting outbound calls to warm prospective clients who have expressed interest 

through digital marketing channels 

 Handling inbound enquiries professionally and eAiciently, ensuring a high standard of 

client experience 

 Engaging prospects in structured qualification conversations to assess suitability, 

needs, and readiness 

 Clearly explaining the next steps in the client journey and setting expectations prior to 

appointments 

 Booking qualified appointments accurately into Salesforce and associated calendar 

systems 

 Proactively following up warm and existing leads to maximise appointment attendance 

and reduce no-show rates 

 Maintaining detailed, accurate, and compliant call notes, lead statuses, and outcomes 

within Salesforce 

 Working towards individual and team performance targets, including call volume, 

conversion rates, appointment quality, and show-up rates 

 Adhering strictly to compliance requirements, approved call scripts, and 

communication frameworks 

 Participating in coaching, feedback sessions, and ongoing training to continuously 

improve call quality and conversion performance 

 Collaborating with sales and leadership teams to identify trends, objections, and 

opportunities for process improvement 

What We’re Looking For 

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: 

 Proven experience in appointment setting, inside sales, telesales, or a contact centre 

environment 

 Prior experience within finance, wealth creation, investment, property, or other 

professional services industries (highly desirable) 

 Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport, trust, and credibility 

quickly over the phone 

 Confidence managing both inbound and outbound call activity in a fast-paced 

environment 

 A results-driven mindset with a strong focus on conversion quality, not just volume 

 High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to administration and CRM 

management 

 Strong organisational, time-management skills, along with the ability to work 

autonomously 

 The ability to handle objections professionally and guide conversations toward clear 

outcomes 

 Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms (highly regarded)
