The Role:
As an Operations Manager Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in managing and leading teams of high-performing Occupational Therapists and Allied Health clinicians. Working closely with the company Director, Admin Manager, and Clinical Manager, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality services, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the growth and development of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and manage occupational therapy staff, students, and Allied Health Assistants.
- Improve and oversee occupational therapy policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices.
- Facilitate the development and application of relevant research within the clinic.
- Manage team KPIs, performance, and forecasting to ensure service delivery goals are met.
- Ensure the quality and timely submission of session notes.
- Organise and manage clinical supervision for the team, utilising both internal and external resources.
- Maintain relationships with support coordinators, LACs, allied health professionals, GPs, and other stakeholders to ensure a steady flow of referrals.
- Handle staff leave requests and manage feedback, complaints, and incident reporting for the business.
- Oversee Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and provide training on policies, procedures, and processes.
- Develop resources and manuals as part of the clinic's operational guidelines.
- Manage the purchasing of therapy resources and equipment as needed.
- Lead clinic updates during team and administration meetings.
- Provide leadership, consultancy, and advice to management and other health professionals on service delivery and best practices.
- Actively participate in multi-disciplinary service projects, quality activities, and research initiatives.
- Coordinate continuous quality improvement, research, and service development activities to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Manage the maintenance and cost-effective use of equipment and supplies.
