 Key Objectives:


  • Deliver excellent service for all customers and suppliers, by providing timely and accurate responses over the phone and via e-mail.
  • Analysing & resolving claims in the most effective and time efficient manner, whilst complying to all regulatory requirements & internal process standards. Maintain an active & effective diary system for all allocated claims
  • Establish/Maintain relationships with a broad range and internal/external stakeholders, including brokers, service providers and insurers.
  • Undertake & complete training opportunities & external courses provided by the company.
  • Work effectively in the team environment, collaborating with peers and sharing knowledge & skills to achieve team goals and objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Be an integral part of the customer experience from the first notification of loss.
  • Manage claim enquiries received via inbound/outbound calls and emails.
  • Liaise with all relevant parties to provide regular updates on the progress of claims.
  • Analyse claims in accordance with policy coverage to provide accurate indemnity decisions.
  • Actively Identify and manage Complaints & Breaches per company processes/procedures, and within Code of Practice timeframes.
  • Identify and escalate opportunities for continuous improvement in processes.

 

An Ideal Candidate will have:

 

  • Experience within General Insurance Claims
  • Knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice
  • High level attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise & multi-task
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Great team player
  • Ability to meet service levels and individual KPI’s
  • Decision making skills and ability to problem solve
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
