The Role:

Your primary focus will be to provide high-quality, client-centred services in a variety of community settings across Melbourne. You’ll have the autonomy to plan your day, supported by a dedicated admin team and regular supervision. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide speech pathology assessments and interventions for clients across various settings, including homes, schools, and community locations.
  • Develop individualised treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and client needs.
  • Work with a diverse caseload of children and adults with communication and swallowing difficulties.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure holistic and client-centred care.
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical records and progress notes in line with professional standards.
  • Participate in regular supervision sessions and team meetings to discuss cases, reflect on practice, and enhance clinical skills.
  • Contribute to professional development activities such as problem-based learning workshops, new graduate groups, and quarterly team days.
  • Manage your schedule effectively with 1:1 administrative support, ensuring your day is productive and within a 30-minute radius from home.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, mentoring, and external PD opportunities with a $1000 annual budget.

Who are you?

  • Qualified Speech Pathologist, with a degree in Speech Pathology
  • Eligible for SPA registration (Speech Pathology Australia)
  • New graduates welcome or experienced clinicians looking for a new challenge.

  • Self-motivated, independent, and able to manage your time effectively in a mobile role.
