Overview:

They are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Speech Pathologist to join their team and contribute to the well-being of their clients through comprehensive and innovative therapeutic approaches.


About the Role:

As a Speech Pathologist, you will:

  • Evaluate and Diagnose: Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties using standardised techniques.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Create individualised treatment plans with measurable and objective goals, ensuring each patient receives the best possible care.
  • Implement Therapy: Execute effective therapy sessions both in the clinic and the community, utilising engaging exercises and activities.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate and timely records according to policies, procedures, and NDIS requirements, including evaluations, progress notes, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with patients, families, physicians, and other team members to ensure a holistic approach to therapy.
  • Liaise with Providers: Communicate with other providers, support coordinators, and involved parties to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide Education: Educate patients and their families about testing results and recommended treatment options, establishing clear expectations and goals.
  • Meet KPIs: Maintain a consistent schedule with 25-28 billable sessions weekly, serving both adult and paediatric clients.
