Community Manager

Salary Range

$60,008.00 to $82,992.00 annually


Position Summary

The Community Manager leads the daily operations of the community and is responsible for financial performance, resident satisfaction, and team leadership. This role requires strong communication skills, operational knowledge, and the ability to create a positive and productive environment for both residents and staff.


Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day operations of the community

• Lead and support onsite staff including leasing and maintenance teams

• Manage rent collection, delinquency, and financial reporting

• Prepare and manage annual budgets and expense control

• Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and company policies

• Oversee leasing, marketing, and resident retention efforts

• Conduct regular property inspections and maintain curb appeal standards

• Manage vendor relationships and approve invoices

• Resolve escalated resident concerns and support a positive community culture


Qualifications

• Three or more years of property management experience

• Strong leadership and team development skills

• Experience managing budgets and financial performance

• Strong understanding of fair housing laws

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


Assistant Community Manager

Pay Range

$22.00 to $28.00 per hour


Position Summary

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager with daily operations, resident relations, financial tasks, and leasing activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and helping maintain a smooth and efficient community environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Support rent collection and delinquency management

• Assist with budget preparation and basic financial reporting

• Help with leasing activities and occupancy goals

• Manage lease renewals and ensure accurate documentation

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive resident relations

• Enforce community policies and support conflict resolution

• Conduct property inspections and coordinate work orders

• Communicate with vendors and support operational needs


Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in property management or a similar role

• Knowledge of fair housing laws

• Strong organization and communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


Leasing Agent

Pay Range

$19.00 to $24.00 per hour


Position Summary

The Leasing Agent is the first point of contact for prospective residents and plays a key role in achieving occupancy goals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, sales, and helping people find their next home.


Key Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and provide professional property tours

• Explain community features, pricing, and lease terms

• Guide prospects through the application and move in process

• Respond to phone, email, and walk in inquiries

• Maintain accurate records for prospects and residents

• Support marketing efforts including online listings and outreach

• Assist with renewals and resident retention efforts

• Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and company policies


Qualifications

• Customer service, sales, or leasing experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• High school diploma or GED

• Professional, friendly, and resident focused attitude
