Senior Manager of Capital Projects (Multifamily)

Location: Long Beach, CA - Corporate Office + Regional Travel

Compensation: $115,000 – $145,000

Position Summary

The Senior Manager of Capital Projects oversees planning, execution, and delivery of major capital improvements across a multifamily portfolio. This role ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards and municipal codes.

Key Responsibilities

·        Develop long‑term capital expenditure plans and annual CapEx budgets

·        Conduct physical asset condition assessments across residential properties

·        Manage full lifecycle of renovation and construction projects

·        Coordinate with maintenance managers, engineers, architects, and contractors

·        Oversee job site activities, inspections, and OSHA compliance

·        Administer RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation

·        Resolve field construction issues and ensure craftsmanship standards

·        Secure permits, entitlements, and final sign‑offs with local agencies

·        Track project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field

·        7+ years of multifamily construction or renovation experience

·        Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Buildertrend)

·        PMP, CCM, or General Contractor License preferred

·        Strong leadership, communication, and project‑management skills
