Assistant Community Manager
Pay Range
$22.00 to $28.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Assistant Community Manager supports daily operations, resident relations, financial tasks, and leasing activities. This role is a strong pathway to becoming a Community Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Support rent collection, delinquency management, and basic financial reporting
• Assist with budget preparation and expense control
• Support leasing activities to help achieve occupancy goals
• Manage lease renewals and ensure accurate documentation
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive resident relations
• Enforce community policies and support conflict resolution
• Conduct regular property inspections and monitor curb appeal
• Coordinate with the maintenance team and manage work orders
• Communicate with vendors and support operational needs
• Assist the Community Manager in supervising and motivating the onsite team
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in property management or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of fair housing laws and property management regulations
• Experience with rent collection and financial reporting
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Preferred
• CAM certification or similar credential
Community Manager
Pay Range
Approximately $26.44 to $33.65 per hour depending on experience and property size
Position Summary
The Community Manager leads the daily operations of a residential community, ensuring strong financial performance, high occupancy, and excellent resident satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations of the community
• Lead and support onsite staff including leasing and maintenance teams
• Manage rent collection, delinquency, and financial reporting
• Prepare and manage annual budgets
• Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and company policies
• Oversee leasing, marketing, and resident retention efforts
• Conduct property inspections and ensure curb appeal standards
• Manage vendor relationships and approve invoices
• Support resident relations and resolve escalated concerns
• Ensure timely completion of work orders and unit turnovers
Qualifications
•3 to 5 years of property management experience
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Experience managing budgets and financial performance
• Strong understanding of fair housing laws
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred
• Experience managing larger communities
• CAM or CAPS certification
Community Management Supervisor / Senior Community Manager
Pay Range
$45,000 to $85,000 per year
Position Summary
The Community Management Supervisor oversees multiple communities or a large, high volume property. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to support multiple teams while driving performance across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support Community Managers and onsite teams
• Oversee financial performance across multiple communities
• Conduct portfolio wide property inspections
• Support hiring, training, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and operational standards
• Review budgets, financial reports, and occupancy trends
• Support escalated resident concerns and complex issues
• Partner with maintenance leadership to ensure timely repairs and turnovers
• Drive leasing performance and marketing initiatives
• Ensure consistent execution of company policies and procedures
Qualifications
• 5+ years of property management experience
• Experience managing multiple communities or large portfolios
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze financial data and drive performance
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred
• CAPS certification or advanced property management training
