Technical Project Manager – Vancouver, BC


We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to join our team in Vancouver, BC. This is an in-office position that requires close collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to drive projects forward efficiently. The right candidate will be experienced in Agile and Waterfall project management approaches, have a solid grasp of the software development lifecycle, and hold PMP certification.

In addition to strong project management expertise, this role requires a forward-thinking individual who stays informed on the latest developments in Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, and automation technologies to identify opportunities for improving workflows and product innovation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain project roadmaps, timelines, and milestones, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external hardware vendors, developing strong professional relationships to support project execution.
  • Oversee and manage development and business team tasks using 'Linear' or similar work ticketing tools to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in project management to improve overall team productivity and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with software development teams, QA teams, and business units to coordinate and execute complex technical projects.
  • Research and integrate advancements in AI, automation, and LLMs to enhance internal processes and product capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in technical project management, particularly within software development and business operations.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, and Critical Path methodologies.
  • PMP certification is required.
  • Hands-on experience with ticketing systems like Linear or comparable tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated passion for emerging AI technologies, including LLMs, AI Agents, and automation-driven solutions.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin is a plus, facilitating effective collaboration with international partners.
