What kind of profile are we looking for?
Professionals with experience designing and building scalable data platforms that ensure information is available, organized, reliable, and ready for analytics, reporting, and artificial intelligence initiatives.
We are interested in candidates who can work with multiple data sources, automate processes, and collaborate with analytics, data science, product, engineering, and business teams.
Typical responsibilities
• Design and develop scalable data pipelines.
• Build and maintain ETL and ELT processes.
• Integrate information from multiple internal and external sources.
• Create and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse environments.
• Optimize queries, workflows, and data structures.
• Implement data quality, security, and governance controls.
• Automate data processing and transformation workflows.
• Monitor platform performance, reliability, and availability.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, product teams, and business stakeholders.
• Document data models, workflows, architecture, and technical decisions.
Main requirements
• Five or more years of experience in data engineering, software development, or related areas.
• Advanced SQL proficiency.
• Experience programming in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with ETL and ELT tools and processes.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Spark, or related technologies.
• Knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
• Advanced English proficiency for professional environments.
Preferred qualifications
• Experience designing data architectures from the ground up.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
• Experience working with high-volume or real-time data environments.
• Knowledge of lakehouse architecture.
• Experience leading technical projects or mentoring junior professionals.
• Experience working with distributed or international teams.
