Automotive fleet and general repair shop in Wayland, MI searching for experienced Automotive Technicians with experience in repair of a wide range of vehicles, including gas and diesel engines.

Founded four years ago, our full-service independent shop specializes in fleet maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles, including gas and diesel engines. We handle everything from pickup trucks to medium-duty trucks, including F450-550 bucket trucks and transit vans, while continuing to serve general automotive needs. With a recent new building, six bays, and five lifts, we’re geared for growth and looking to expand our talented team.

We’re seeking an experienced A-Level Technician with strong diagnostic skills who can work on both standard automotive and heavier-duty vehicles. This role is ideal for someone with a mix of automotive and medium-duty experience, with the versatility to handle both fleet and general retail work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair a range of passenger vehicles and medium-duty trucks, including transit vans, F450s, and bucket trucks
• Perform gas and diesel engine repairs, inspections, and maintenance
• Collaborate closely with our service writer to provide high-quality service
• Contribute to a positive, no-drama workplace focused on teamwork and growth

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in automotive repair with a focus on diagnostics
• Solid experience with both general automotive and medium-duty vehicles
• Skilled in handling gas and diesel engines
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to getting the job done right
• An interest in supporting and mentoring junior techs
• Ability to handle a variety of repair tasks that may challenge other shops
