JOB DESCRIPTION: Estimator

Reports to:                       SENIOR ESTIMATOR

Position Mission:           Support the strategic positioning of preconstruction to win desired projects that meet the department goals

Results/Measurables:

1)     Site review

2)     Project document review

3)     Building Component Takeoff

4)     Initial File Development

Job Responsibilities Include:

1)     Attend weekly estimating meetings with team

2)     Continuously improve estimating process and systems

3)     Manage time and communicate workloads to ensure deadlines are met

4)     Travel as necessary to support company vision in South Florida region.

5)     Review project documents to analyze specific scope and specification requirements  

6)     Review projects onsite to strategize potential competitive advantages

7)     Perform quantity takeoffs utilizing clear and consistent spreadsheets

8)     Develop RFI’s to further clarify scope of work
