Controller

We are working with a growing construction / make-to-order manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial operations. This role owns the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of the company’s financial systems and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day accounting (AP, AR, payroll, GL), directly or via outsourced partners
• Own and manage Acumatica ERP and QuickBooks Online, ensuring data accuracy
• Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Prepare cash flow planning and support executive decision-making
• Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Manage compliance deadlines (tax, payroll, insurance) and corporate insurance
• Identify and correct process gaps, risks, and inefficiencies

Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
• Hands-on Acumatica ERP experience (required)
• Experience with QuickBooks Online
• Percentage-of-completion accounting experience (required)
• Background in construction and/or make-to-order manufacturing accounting
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
