Leading provider of structural building components, is seeking a skilled Wall Panel Designer to join our design team. This position is responsible for creating accurate and efficient wall panel designs for residential and/or commercial construction projects, ensuring structural integrity, code compliance, and optimal material usage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed wall panel layouts and shop drawings using industry-specific design software (e.g., MiTek, Alpine, or similar).
• Interpret architectural and structural plans to develop accurate panel designs.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within specifications.
• Optimize material usage and layout for manufacturing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, customer requirements, and company standards.
• Provide technical support to project managers and customers as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in wall panel or structural component design preferred.
• Proficiency with MiTek software or similar CAD-based design programs.
• Strong understanding of wood framing, construction methods, and load paths.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in both residential and multifamily projects.
• Knowledge of framing materials, fasteners, and production methods.
