We are partnering with a well-established building materials distributor serving residential and commercial construction markets in the Wichita area. This organization is known for strong customer relationships, reliable service, and long-term stability.

They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage business with contractors, builders, and construction professionals throughout the region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors and construction customers
  • Prospect and develop new business within an assigned territory
  • Manage existing accounts while expanding sales opportunities
  • Prepare quotes, follow up on bids, and close sales
  • Conduct jobsite visits and customer meetings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution
  • Meet or exceed sales and margin goals

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience in building materials, construction products, or contractor-focused sales
  • Strong relationship-building and territory management skills
  • Knowledge of the construction industry preferred
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and local travel required
