We’re seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee all operations and financial performance of a millwork and door shop serving residential and light commercial markets. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, profitability, and team performance across production, logistics, and customer fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
- Manage budgets, P&L, forecasting, and cost control to achieve financial targets.
- Develop and implement production strategies that improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Partner with sales, purchasing, and logistics to align operational capacity with demand.
- Lead, mentor, and develop staff across production and support roles.
- Monitor key performance metrics and initiate process improvements.
- Maintain vendor relationships and oversee material inventory and purchasing.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of leadership experience in millwork, door manufacturing, or building materials.
- Strong background in operations management and financial oversight.
- Proven ability to drive productivity and profitability in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP or production management systems preferred.
