Job Title: Business Development Manager (Building Envelope Products)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by cultivating relationships with top-level decision-makers at national manufacturers within the underlayments and building envelope space. This role requires a strategic thinker who is well-organized, goal-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate target markets and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts and prospects within the underlayments and building envelope industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at national manufacturers, understanding their needs and offering tailored OEM solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and marketing, to ensure alignment of strategies and support in achieving business objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to secure new business and expand market share.
  • Track and report sales performance metrics, including pipeline management, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, regulations, and emerging technologies to effectively position our products and services.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote brand awareness.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, related field or related industry experience.
  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales within the manufacturing industry, preferably in building envelope products or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and nurture relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tenacious mindset with a drive to achieve results and exceed sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
