Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in the Nashville area.
- Promote and sell a wide range of lumber and building materials to contractors, builders, and other industry professionals.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales goals and expand market share.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
- Negotiate pricing and terms of sales agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales within the lumber and building materials industry.
- Strong knowledge of lumber products, building materials, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
