Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in the Nashville area.
  • Promote and sell a wide range of lumber and building materials to contractors, builders, and other industry professionals.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales goals and expand market share.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms of sales agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales within the lumber and building materials industry.
  • Strong knowledge of lumber products, building materials, and construction practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the designated territory.
