About This Job


  • Guide and coach the continuous improvement and evolution of the in-scope applications together with internal stakeholders and external service providers located across the globe.
  • As an IT Business Analyst contribute to the management of Finance initiatives by following a governance model for reviewing, prioritizing and monitoring these initiatives.
  • Coordinate between IT, finance, consultants and developers on all aspects of application management.
  • Manage various support processes at a distance across multiple time zones and cultures.
  • Formalize business cases for new functionalities or specific developments
  • Conduct business requirements gathering, gap analysis and process re-engineering sessions
  • Propose functional solutions and build related specifications for developers
  • Develop & and execute test scripts, provide training and support testing processes

Qualifications


  • 5 or more years’ experience in PeopleSoft Financials
  • Post graduate or master qualification in Finance and Accounting with strong interest in Information systems or in Information systems with strong interest in Finance and Accounting
  • General Ledger, Multicurrency, Consolidation, Closing, Allocations, Journal entry processing, VAT and Withholding Tax, Trees & Queries, GL Workflow, GL integrations a must
  • Tax provisioning, account payables and receivable key concepts
  • Implementation, testing, training and high problem-solving experience with the core PeopleSoft Financials modules
  • Enterprise application, interfaces, SQL for problem-solving and analysis
  • Notions of Nvision, Business Object, Power BI a plus.
  • Some knowledge of PeopleTools suite, PeopleSoft Security Administration, SQR, Autosys & Job scheduler type of tools.
  • Understanding of lifecycle management including managing multiple deliverables with overlapping priorities and deadlines. Must be comfortable in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work.
  • Experience with systems integration, technical interfaces, and analytics.
  • Ability to own tasks, prioritize work, multi-task, and work independently with remote supervision
  • Ability to participate in several international projects in parallel
