Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with 3 to 6 years of experience in Insurance Defense litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload of general liability matters in a collaborative and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation skills and be able to manage files independently from start to finish with supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of case management, from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and other legal documents
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda
- Appear in court for hearings, case management conferences, and trials
- Collaborate closely with supervising attorneys and clients to develop case strategies
- Provide timely reporting and thoughtful analysis to clients
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
- 3–6 years of relevant litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense or civil litigation
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable with file responsibility and courtroom appearances

Compensation DOE $130,000 - $200,000 + bonuses and benefits
