Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with 3 to 6 years of experience in Insurance Defense litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload of general liability matters in a collaborative and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation skills and be able to manage files independently from start to finish with supervision.


Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of case management, from inception through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and other legal documents
  • Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda
  • Appear in court for hearings, case management conferences, and trials
  • Collaborate closely with supervising attorneys and clients to develop case strategies
  • Provide timely reporting and thoughtful analysis to clients


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
  • 3–6 years of relevant litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense or civil litigation
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
  • Comfortable with file responsibility and courtroom appearances

Compensation DOE $130,000 - $200,000 + bonuses and benefits
