Position overview:

We are seeking an associate attorney with 3+ years of experience in civil litigation defense to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated litigator who wants significant case responsibility, early courtroom exposure, and a clear path for advancement.


Key responsibilities:

  • Handle all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Represent clients in state and federal courts, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Prepare case strategy, evaluate exposure, and communicate recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex cases while independently managing a portion of the caseload.


Required qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the California Bar.
  • 3+ years of experience in general liability, professional liability, or related civil litigation.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Deposition and/or first-chair trial experience.
  • Experience representing professionals (attorneys, accountants, architects, etc.) in malpractice or errors & omissions matters.
  • Demonstrated interest in client development and networking.
