Position overview:

We are seeking an accomplished employment law partner to join our leadership team. This is a key strategic hire for our employment group, which handles high-impact cases and counseling for employers of all sizes. The ideal candidate will be a proven litigator who is eager to collaborate with a talented bench of trial lawyers and expand our employment law capabilities.


Key responsibilities:

  • Serve as a lead trial lawyer and strategist on single-plaintiff and class/collective employment cases.
  • Counsel clients on employment practices, compliance, and litigation avoidance strategies.
  • Help shape the direction of the employment practice group and mentor rising attorneys.
  • Partner with firm leadership on business development initiatives and thought leadership opportunities.


Required qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the California Bar.
  • 10+ years of experience handling employment litigation and counseling matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cases from intake through resolution, including trial experience.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and mentoring skills.


Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with wage-and-hour class actions, PAGA actions, and EEOC/DFEH investigations.
  • Interest in developing new client relationships with support from firm resources.
  • Prior experience working in an AmLaw 200 or highly regarded litigation firm.
