Our founding team is building production-grade money infrastructure used by real partners. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design, build, and operate core backend services for stablecoin infrastructure: mint/burn flows, reserve accounting, reconciliation, and settlement pipelines.
• Integrate with banking/payment rails (ACH/wire/SWIFT-equivalents), custody providers, and partner APIs.
• Implement robust reconciliation, observability, and auditing to ensure correctness for high-value flows.
• Own production SLAs: reliability, latency, monitoring, alerting, and runbooks — participate in on-call and incident response.
• Translate ambiguous business and compliance requirements into secure, operational solutions in partnership with product and legal.
• Harden systems against threats: secure API design, secrets management, and formal threat modeling.
• Mentor teammates, influence architecture, and take measurable ownership of product areas with clear equity upside.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-7 years building production ready backend systems (Go and Rust preferred)
• Practical experience with payments, banking integrations, or other high-throughput transactional systems 
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, data consistency, eventing, idempotency, retries, and durable reconciliation.
• Experience designing secure APIs and operational security practices (encryption, access controls, secrets management).
• Comfortable being on-call for money-moving infrastructure and iterating on incident playbooks.
• Clear communicator who can explain tradeoffs to engineering, product, legal, and partner teams.
• Willingness and ability to work in-person in NYC. Relocation supported.

PLUSES

• Direct crypto infra or stablecoin experience (on-chain/off-chain reconciliation, mint/burn flows).
• Experience at payments/fintech companies (Stripe, Plaid, Square, Circle, Paxos, Coinbase, or bank/clearing experience).
• Knowledge of compliance/KYC/AML patterns relevant to custodial or issuance products.
• Experience designing systems for auditable reserves and external attestations.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $180,000 to $250,000 USD base salary per year
