ABOUT THE TEAM

We build remote desktop software for high-performance workstations. The product must be invisible, ultra-fast, and production grade for enterprise customers. We’re a small, senior R&D team obsessed with squeezing milliseconds out of systems, shipping products that scale to millions of users, and delivering engineering work you can be proud of.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

• Operate and evolve the core backend powering authentication, permissions, admin tooling, telemetry, and high-performance network relays.
• Design and implement secure, multi-region systems and APIs that support millions of users with enterprise-grade security.
• Lead refactors and additions to a complex server codebase (monolith → clean architecture preferred).
• Partner closely with product, support, and infrastructure to ship features end-to-end and iterate with customers.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 7–15 years building backend systems in startups or scale-ups (enterprise SaaS a big plus).
• Strong track record of shipping secure, reliable, and performant backend services.
• Comfortable with owning large areas of a product and making pragmatic tradeoffs.
• Happy to go deep: prefer building the right low-dependency solution rather than bolting on the latest library.
• Product- and customer-focused. You care about fit & finish and good UX for admins and IT users.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with API/permissions modeling, complex admin/enterprise features, telemetry/event systems, or large refactors of monoliths.
• Go experience preferred but we’ll hire Go-curious engineers coming from Java, Django, Rails, or C# backgrounds.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $180,000 to $250,000 USD base salary per year
