OVERVIEW

We are partnering with a high growth, venture backed infrastructure company building next generation global payments rails powered by blockchain technology. This team is tackling one of the largest opportunities in fintech: rebuilding cross border money movement from the ground up using stablecoin based infrastructure. Their focus is on high friction, underserved payment corridors across emerging markets where traditional systems break down and new rails can leapfrog legacy finance.  The company has recently reached strong product market fit, secured early stage funding, and is now scaling its engineering team to meet rapidly increasing demand. If you want to build the infrastructure that moves money globally, this is the opportunity.

THE ROLE 

This is a senior, backend leaning engineering role with full product ownership. You will be one of the earliest engineering hires, working directly on core infrastructure that powers global transaction flows. This is not a ticket taking role. You will operate as an owner, designing, building, and shipping critical systems end to end. 

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

• Build and scale payment and transaction infrastructure across blockchain and traditional systems Design ledgering, reconciliation, and fund movement systems 
• Integrate with blockchain networks for transaction execution 
• Develop systems for wallet operations, transaction routing, and settlement flows Own features end to end from architecture to deployment 
• Improve system reliability, observability, and performance at scale 
• Collaborate in a lean, high autonomy environment with direct exposure to leadership 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 8+ years of software engineering experience at senior or staff level
• Strong backend systems experience with a Javascript first stack (Node & Typescript)
• AWS deployment/management experience
• Working knowledge React
• Understanding of blockchain concepts; wallets, transactions, EVM compatible chains and other networks/protocols 
• Prior track record of delivering/deploying payments, fintech, or financial systems into production 
• End to end ownership of projects/systems
• Strong communication skills in a remote first environment 

NICE TO HAVE

• Prior experience at payment infrastructure or crypto companies 
• Exposure to both traditional finance and blockchain systems
• Multi chain experience 
• Early stage startup experience
