About the Opportunity:


A leading southeastern law firm with a nationally recognized Financial Services practice is seeking an experienced transactional lawyer to join its growing team. This practice represents major financial institutions, private credit providers, private equity sponsors, and corporate borrowers in sophisticated financing transactions across a range of industries. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-value, market-leading deals involving syndicated credit facilities, leveraged finance, acquisition finance, and other complex lending arrangements.

Who You Are:

  • A transactional attorney with four to seven years of experience, ideally within a Financial Services, Banking, Leveraged Finance, or Corporate practice group.
  • Experienced in syndicated credit facilities, leveraged finance transactions, and general secured lending, with the ability to run deal workstreams and interface confidently with clients.
  • Skilled in drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security documents, amendments, and waivers; familiarity with market terms and customary lender and sponsor expectations is preferred.
  • Able to navigate the interplay among different financing structures, including senior secured loans, mezzanine financing, asset-based lending, and acquisition financing.
  • Known for excellent academic performance, strong communication skills, and polished interpersonal abilities.
  • Eligible for North Carolina bar admission or willing to pursue it.
  • A team-oriented professional with strong attention to detail, good commercial judgment, and the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently.


Compensation & Structure:

  • Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience. ($200,000 - $300,000)
