Position overview:

We are seeking an associate attorney with 3+ years of employment litigation experience to join our dynamic employment practice. This is a growth role for a litigator who wants hands-on case responsibility, trial exposure, and a long-term career trajectory within a nationally respected team.


Key responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day litigation tasks, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and hearings.
  • Represent employers in single-plaintiff and class/collective actions, as well as administrative proceedings.
  • Advise clients on employment law compliance and risk management strategies.
  • Work closely with partners and senior counsel to develop case strategy and deliver excellent client service.


Required qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the California Bar.
  • 3+ years of experience in employment litigation, including wage-and-hour or discrimination matters.
  • Strong research, writing, and courtroom skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple matters simultaneously.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with class action defense or PAGA claims.
  • Deposition and/or motion hearing experience.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment agencies (EEOC, DFEH, DLSE).
