Position Overview

The Project Manager works under the direction of the Studio Director and coordinates all administrative and technical aspects of assigned projects from the entitlement phase through construction administration. This role serves as a primary client liaison throughout the project delivery process, with a strong emphasis on schedule adherence, quality execution, and overall client satisfaction.


Primary Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, responsibilities include:

  • Manage projects through the entitlement, contract document, and construction phases.
  • Develop and manage project workplans, coordinating staffing needs directly with the Studio Director.
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules and coordinate tasks across the project team.
  • Collaborate with the Studio Director to anticipate and plan schedules for upcoming projects.
  • Perform consistent drawing reviews to ensure compliance with applicable codes and constructability standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), consultants, and clients.
  • Promote collaboration between architectural and construction teams to support integrated project delivery.
  • Mentor and train less experienced staff members.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and coordinate additional service requests.
  • Follow and enforce established quality control procedures.
  • Encourage and model core values centered on communication, collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and quality.


Desired Qualifications & Attributes

  • 10+ years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination of knowledge and skills.
  • Professional licensure or registration preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of architectural systems and construction methods, with the ability to appropriately detail those systems.
  • Proficient understanding of federal, state, and local life safety and energy codes.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve constructability and code-related issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with project teams, consultants, and clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across various stages of development.
  • High-level proficiency with industry-standard tools, including but not limited to:
  • Revit
  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Project
  • Bluebeam
